We had some friends come over for dinner tonight. They have this adorable little baby, Cooper, who is almost 3-months old. Ava was absolutely fascinated by him. He was smiling at her too, so we thought we'd get the camera out. Sadly, Cooper did not like the flash so much. With every picture Todd took, Cooper got more and more upset. And with every flash from the camera, Riley laughed harder and harder. :) Riley thought Cooper was pretty darn hilarious.
Ava just started making this new sound today. It is so adorable. I was getting her ready for her bath and she was just "da-da" ing away, so Todd came in to take some video. Have I mentioned on the blog today how much I love this little girl and how stinkin' cute she is...no? Okay, then I'm saying it now. :)
Not Understood Not understood, we gather false impressions O God! that men would see a little clearer, -Thomas Bracken I gave a talk on Sunday about forgiving others. This is a poem that my dad told me about while preparing for this talk and I love it! I love it so much I thought I'd share.

We did a little photo shoot yesterday before church. Ava has some seriously cute dresses. Now I just need to get her to keep her shoes on and we'll be good to go!

The animals were much easier to photograph than the boys. Maybe Tanner and Riley would behave better if we put them in cages. Hmmmm.
We FINALLY had a beautiful day yesterday and we headed off to the zoo. Our zoo is absolutely humongous! So, Todd took a half day and we all went togther. We had so much fun!!! If you will notice however, almost every picture we got of the boys was of their backsides. They are not boys who like to pose for pictures. Ava on the other hand...well, she really has no where to go. Hence, we get lots of good shots of her. It is suppose to snow tomorrow and the next day...Boo! Hiss! Well, I'm glad we got to enjoy the spring weather while it lasted. The whole ONE day of it.
I am having WAY too much fun dressing this little girl. I wish I had taken a picture of her standing up in this outfit. It is this darling blue skirt with a pink shirt and her white cardigan. And I love that she has enough hair that I can put a bow in her hair with some extra hair sticking up out the top. Our boys certainly didn't have this much hair when they were her age.
2-weeks ago, after I had just given piano lessons to two kids in our ward, Riley asked me if he could take piano lessons too. Of course you can!!! Every day since then he has made sure that he gets at least one lesson in per day. Can I just say that he is doing so great! We can now play a duet which we will hopefully be able to play in our primary talent show that is coming up. I took a video of Riley playing a song that he just learned. It is pretty darn cute!
p.s. I am SOOOOOO glad to have my computer back! Yea for computers and Internet!!!
Our computer is down so that means no more blog posts with pictures until we get it back up and running. I know you will all be absolutely devastated. :)
Today we are flashing back to 19-something or other...I can't tell you the exact year for fear my mom would disown me ;) This is my mom. Isn't she a doll? I definitely see a bit of Ava in her cute little face.
