A Child's Dream

Do you remember the dreams you had as a child? Not sleepy, bed-time dreams, but real, honest-to-goodness, I'm gonna be that/do that someday dreams. Well, Tanner has a dream. A great dream actually. A dream he thinks about on a daily basis.

The other day we dropped Riley off at school and Tanner saw one of the 5th graders out with his florescent yellow vest and stop sign and in pure wonder and awe said, "Mom, is that a stop sign boy? Wow...can I be a stop sign boy one day?" I'm not one to crush my children's deepest desires, so of course I answered in the affirmative. Sure buddy. I know that one day you will be the bestest stop sign boy there ever was.
