Deanna Rose Farmstead

The weather was so beautiful today...for a change...so we woke up knowing that we had to get out and enjoy the day. We decided to go to the farm and had a great time! The boys just ran, and ran...and then ran some more. Needless to say, they have been bored stiff at our house and were more than ready to be active. And even more needless to say, I have been even more ready than Riley and Tanner to get them out. They are driving me nuts!!! Anyway, it was a good day had by all.

When I said that they did a lot of running, I wasn't kidding. That's practically all they did do was run around like crazy people.

Tanner enjoying watching the water in the lake...he has been known to take nose dives into the water, so this made me a little bit nervous.

What trip to the farm would be complete without romping around in the petting zoo? Tanner loves it...but Riley could definitely do without hanging out with the goats.

Riley rocked the tractor track. He was cruising non stop. When he finally gave up his tractor for another child to ride, he ran around the track time after time after time. It was great!

The fall in Kansas is really pretty. Lots of Maple trees turning all shades of beautiful colors.

A tradition at the farm is going to the dairy barn to get some delicious chocolate milk. Mmmmm!
