The Beach!!!

The most exciting part of the whole trip for the boys was the beach. I just wish it would have been a little bit warmer. It was pretty chilly...but that didn't stop our kids from immersing themselves in the water. At one point Tanner even turned blue he was so cold. Ahh the wonders of youth. Again, thank heavens for Ryan and Shelton helping watch the boys. I was pretty pooped from spending the whole morning/afternoon at the boardwalk. I pretty much just sat on a beach towel the entire time...the story of my life. :)

Poor Tanner's shorts didn't stand a chance of staying up once they were soaked through...which happened approximately 3-seconds after stepping foot onto the beach.


Andy, Aaron and Ethan headed up a huge sand castle project that Riley and Tanner really got into...literally into. Tanner apparently thought that he was king of the castle for the amount of time he spent sitting in it while the others worked around him.

Oh Andy, don't hate me for taking and then posting this picture. It was just too good to pass up! :) Thank heaven for wives...what would husbands do without them holding up a towel while they changed?


Grandma got the boys some really fun sand toys.
