Family Prayer

The scene at family prayer tonight:

It was Tanner's turn to say the prayer and I was helping him.

Mom: ..."We're thankful for our family."
Tanner: "We're thankful for our family"
Mom: "Please help us to be kind to each other"
Tanner: (looks up and whispers) "No.  I don't want to do that.  Let's skip that page."
Mom: ?!?!?!?
